D2 Private was started in 2004 by Deirdre Foley and David Arnold. The business was established to utilise the expertise of the founders to acquire prime property assets on their own behalf and on behalf of others. The vision was to develop a real estate business that helped to create, manage and preserve wealth for its founders and those who wished to co-invest alongside.

David Arnold and Deirdre Foley are experienced investors, developers and asset managers and have between them over 35 years property experience across all real estate asset classes. In addition we are fortunate to have an additional 50 years combined experience between the key members of the D2 Private team in property investment, construction and financing 'know how'. Our team is highly skilled and experienced and has strong knowledge of the Irish and UK property markets and in particular the London property market.

We have a proven track record in the UK and Ireland and have a number of major acquisitions in central London. Our portfolio is valued at approximately £1.4 billion. We have excellent relationships with vendors and have a reputation for completing transactions in a timely and honourable manner.

We also endeavour to return equity quickly and efficiently to our co-investors by constantly reviewing structures, banking, and by focusing on the maximisation of asset potential. Has generated substantial returns both realised and unrealised for its founders and its co-investors.

In addition D2 Private has the proven skills and a track record in reporting to co-investors and managing all aspects, legal, banking and tenant activity post completion of a transaction.

Finally to generate investor confidence and trust, D2 Private aligns its interests with those of its investors to maximise return on equity. This includes investing our own money in transactions and also ensuring that fees are better than market rate and linked to overall performance.
